Kitchen Utrecht

The new residents of this bright ground floor apartment on the Utrecht canal asked FELD to create a nice kitchen area. The existing space was completely stripped and rebuilt by the contractor and furniture maker according to FELD’s design.

Coherence

A graphic tile pattern has been used over the entire length of the space. The cabinet doors of the opposite low cabinet are sprayed in a color similar to the tile. A finish with a type of stone based on concrete, in an off-white shade with a texture, was chosen for all cabinet elements. These applications create coherence and a sense of unity in the space. FELD has created the furniture plan for the living room.

Turning a project into a party

“Buying a new house is already quite exciting, but furnishing it correctly and according to your wishes is also quite a challenge. How do you ensure that your new home is actually as nice as you had imagined? My boyfriend and I were melting with happiness at the sight of our new home, but we had no idea how to make the most of our new home. We found it quite exciting to furnish our new dream home. We heard about FELD through acquaintances. From the first moment we met Francine there was a good click. She listened carefully to our wishes, was flexible, came up with a design that we are extremely happy with, and made the entire project a party with her cheerful person and her disarming smile. Our house is now completely finished and FELD has succeeded in turning our house into a real home.”
